Hailing from St. Petersburg, Florida, Rachel Ivy Alex is a singer-songwriter, pianist, and composer. A unique sound, the songstress weaves jazz, pop, and r&b into her web of overarching stories filled with deep emotion and authenticity. Rachel’s songs are almost personal memoirs, carrying with them the beauty of angelic melodies atop sultry jazz chord progressions, capturing all the vibrations of each of her journeys. Likened to Sara Bareilles and Lana Del Rey, Rachel is versatile; a little musical theater here, neosoul influence there, some r&b here.
After exploring a passion of movie scoring at Berklee College of Music, Rachel has dedicated her life to writing and performing.
