The love started from street dances with my Dad's sound system thumping through the air, I could feel it, the rhythm, the melody, the wave. growing up I was also introduced to the illustrious genre of Hip-Hop starting from the old-school New York boom bap to the cool west side hits. I began music doing Reggae and Dancehall solely until I realized that my greater influence in terms of style and cadence came from Rap & Hip-Hop and which I then started to interpolate into my music. Being a stoner was the transitional device and eventually I had my own flavor of stoner dancehall-rap , "YaadRap" as I like to call It. Music has been my whole life but PurpMiya Is ready for the world in 2017.
