Prodagy

Prodagy is a singer, rapper, sound engineer, music producer, and song writer currently residing in Iowa City, Iowa. His style takes the foundation of rap and hip-hop and fuses it with that of rock, Afro pop, and soul. Prodagy’s new age sound is eclectic and captivates listeners worldwide. Most fans check Instagram and Facebook for Prodagy’s latest updates. Prodagy released his newest single, “Phoenix”, back in November 2018 across music platforms worldwide and has performed at Star University’s Midwest Litfest.

Prodagy’s music career began in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In middle school, he participated in rap battles and shared his first recordings on cassette tapes with his friends. He then relocated to his hometown for high school in Ghana and learned about studio production. Prodagy continued to participate in rap battles and performed his first singles as Prodagy at high schools throughout the region. He journeyed back to the States for college, determined to create more music and collaborating with multiple local artists. He was given the opportunity to perform at Star University’s Midwest Litfest in April of 2017. He recently opened in concerts for Marcin and Flint Eastwood in October of 2018. Prodagy released his first hit single, “Stages” worldwide while attending the University of Iowa in October of 2017.

Prodagy's debut album, “Phoenix Ascending”, was released April 20th. His latest single, "Enigma (feat. Vegas)" will be released on October 24th.
