Prey 4 Reign

Prey 4 Reign is a 5-piece original heavy metal/hard rock band out of Fresno, California. Current members are Exel Morales ‘Exl’, Matthew ‘Descender’ O’Donnell, Dennis Tyler-StClair ‘Saint’, and Harrison Stewart, and Joseph Ramirez.

The core of Prey 4 Reign originated in 2017, after Exl and Descender got connected and started jamming with other musicians in the Fresno area. Around August those musicians had moved on to bigger better things, and they found Saint through networking, having just moved from San Francisco Bay Area. Saint, Exl, and Descender found a drummer that completed the back-then 4-piece line up, and soon thereafter went on to play their first show in October, with Militant Civilian in Paso Robles, CA.

Early 2018 was when the band started to get going. Only with seven songs at the time, they were able to get into a show with superband Asesino in March. Harrison joined the group shortly after that gig, to allow Saint the openness to sing and to add a thick element to Prey 4 Reign’s sound through rhythm guitar. The new 5-Piece lineup was a part of a show with Motograter in May, Otep in August, and Flaw in September.Prey 4 Reign began working on ‘Chaos’, their debut EP, in September. Chaos features 5 of the many P4R songs that put the exclamation mark on Prey 4 Reign’s style, delivering punchy drums, gritty riffs, versatile tones in the lead guitars and vocals, and awe-striking lyrics.

Prey 4 Reign since has released ‘Chaos’, and has completed the first tour, with Beneath the Fallen from Austin, TX, and Art and the Resistance from Bakersfield, CA, this past November. New Year's Day 2019 debuted the music video for our single Chaos, and to date Look Alive and Outsiders have Official Music Videos as well.

After a few trials with a few drummers, Joseph became a member of Prey 4 Reign in April 2019. This new lineup is set to take part in a Battle of the Bands, and play in multiple festivals upcoming, including Reignfest in August 2019.

Prey 4 Reign is set to release their 2nd studio EP titled 'No World', August 30, 2019. 'No World' features songs like Alpha (Music Video released 8-22-19) and No World (Video pending release), which incorporates a more modern style of Prey 4 Reign, keeping true to the elements of power like within 'Chaos'.
