Jamar " PopaBand " Ivey was born January 30. 1997, North Charleston, Sc. At the age of 5, he moved to Goose Creek, Sc. where he came up at. At the age of 12 is the age where his older brother " Ski ' Trey'von Ivey Introduced him to Fl Studio. He started of making cheesy beats at first. his brother then got locked up, and eventually he started rapping of youtube beats cause he didn't have guidance on his " cheesy Beats ". As the years go by, he started to fall of in the music lane and started falling in the " Product Of My environment " category. In 9th Grade he join the GCH Junior Varsity basketball team but eventually he got kicked off because of skipping school. Jamar's mom eventually took him out of school and sent him to a military school in Columbia, Sc for 3 months to get his GED. After being cut short from a graduation, Jamar then fell hard for the streets were he kept going in and out of county jail. In 2015 " PopaBand " Slowing started turning back to the music lane and started dropping more music and beats after the lost of his little cousin " Hez " Hezekiah Ivey, On Christmas Eve Night 2014. On the day after Thanksgiving 2015 He was shot in the arm by a stray bullet being at the wrong place at the wrong time. he then met " Lean " Allina Moutrie, who he's currently in a relationship with and also gave him his first child " Mier " Jamier Khari Mahki Ivey, who was born March 24. 2017. in 2017 he caught 2 PWIP which is still open cases. Jamar " PopaBand ' Ivey is now working late night and morning on his craft.
