Envisioned in 2014, Park Slope is a band that has its roots embedded deeply into the underground music scene that was prominent in the Bronx, NY from 2000-2015. Formed by the former members of rock/pop group Atlantis Bound and punk/pop-punk group Drop The Gloves, Park Slope's sound is forged by the group's collective fondness and influence from various acts in the punk, hardcore/post-hardcore, metal, emo, and progressive genres of rock. The band culminates the musicianship and experience each member has gained through former projects. After writing songs and holding jam sessions in one another's houses for over a year, the band solely organized, booked and played its very first show in the Bronx in the summer of 2015. They debuted their self-titled EP on May 21st, 2016.
