OTRO LADO is a dance-punk trio from NYC formed by Cody Ross Rex, Alan Sea, and Taylor Christoffel.
The group features a minimalistic arrangement of bass guitar, vocals,
and drum kit augmented with electronic components and samples. OTRO LADO
originated in 2014 with initial inspiration coming from Liquid Liquid, !!!, and ESG. Over time, their sound evolved to incorporate elements of kraut-rock, afro-beat, and house music. While their sonic palette continues to expand, OTRO LADO's sound remains anchored in a core philosophy of minimalism and groove-oriented improvisation. The length and feel of particular songs varies from performance to performance.
