Hey, i am OSIRIS8 or osiris but never Osiris please. The beach and sea have influenced this spirit more so than any other creatures. Music since a child and Hip-Hop for the last four years bring i to here now. I am not in time or space. i am time and space. Currently I am striving to understand the elements within and with out me. Actively healing the wounds of systematic oppression and internalized racism, I see my music speaking directly to my growth. Be it manifesting and declaring or reflecting and owning, the sounds that come from my voice are downloads from the ancestors. It is necessary and respectful to write about what I care about and not only what feels good. This is the process.
My first ever project was a culmination of over 25 local artists and since then I have been active throughout the world. Producers from New York, Japan, & France have granted me the honor of collaboration. Musical Performance, Modeling, Video-Editing/Direction, & Acting are all key elements of OSIRIS8. Mental Health and Physical Wellness are important for joy.
