Bio
Nicotine Poetic is a singer/songwriter duo based in central Illinois. The duo was founded in 2007 and over the course of 5 years experimented with songwriting and lineups that eventually resulted in the release of their "Somewhere Close to Okay" album. Soon after the group would go on hiatus.
In 2014 Jeff Wyles (singer/lyricist) and Jay Etherton (guitarist/songwriter) chose to strip Nicotine back down to the basics and again write and perform as a duo. The two are determined to continue writing honest music and to reach the audiences for whom it is intended. The duo writes and performs their original music but also has a strong bank of cover songs across multiple genres.
