Neil Dover

Neil Dover's Gulf Coast Country is new. It's unlike anything you're hearing on the radio these days. And there's a reason for that: it's not recorded in a studio of any kind. It's recorded in Neil's house on an ancient mixing board. If you've found yourself wishing you loved country music again, here it is. A microphone, a couple of guitars, a piano, an organ, a Ziploc full of harmonicas, once a steel drum and a wooden frog.  Sometimes the neighbor texts, "Turn the bass down!" Over this simple country-combo sound, Neil's distinctive razored voice sings about his life.  Finding HER, losing HER, driving a semi, trying to forget HER, stealing cars, playing music in bars, drinking because of HER, hoping SHE comes along again. "I love country music. You do to. Come see me, let's make some together."
