Sacramento punk band National Ransom combines 90’s/00’s punk, alternative, and rock influences to play original songs with catchy hooks and distorted guitars. Drawing influence from bands like The Lawrence Arms, Bad Religion, Hot Water Music, and The Descendents, National Ransom continues to connect with people through their fun and energetic live performances. Founded in January 2020, National Ransom quickly solidified their sound with the release of 4 singles and the “Shakedown” EP. With all 3 members contributing to the song writing process, each member is able to provide their own unique perspective and influences to the sound of the band. With newest single “No Anchor’ dropping in November 2023, National Ransom is ready to propel their powerful punk rock music into the greater Sacramento area music scene. For fans of: Lawrence Arms, Bad Religion, Hot Water Music, Descendents, Green Day, and Blink 182.
