mOody and Kimbi is an unsigned husband and wife Neo-Soul/Hip-Hop/Spoken Word duo from Greenville, South Carolina. This group is soulful, free, fun, and jamming! While mOody bLaCk supplies the Hip-Hop portion of the group, Kimbi the Goddess bless each track with her smooth-soulful voice to add balance and flavor to each song. They are hosts of weekly open mic venues throughout the upstate of South Carolina; they hosted the second largest poetry festival "The 22nd Annual Southern Fried Poetry Slam " from June 4-7 in Greenville SC. Also, they opened up for Trey Songz and travel across the country to perform. They are currently working on their full length cd to be due winter of 2014
