Bio
In 2018 Misanthropes was formed by Magnus (guitar/singer) and Michael (drums/piano) in math class after hearing the announcement of the high school talent show. They began practicing and instead of entering the talent show, they wrote and recorded their first EP "Rick's Deodorant". Since then the boys have recorded new music every year, building a small following.
Their 3rd album "Gourmet for Cretins" is their most creative and expansive music to date; covering a variety of themes that all came from the news during a pandemic. It was recorded at Soundmine Studios by famed rock producer Dan Malsch (Gojira's "Fortitude" and Ghost's "IMPERA"). Gourmet For Cretins was released via Let's Play Alligator records in October 2021 on Spotify/Apple Music/iTunes and more.
