Michael Huggins is a country music singer-songwriter based in San Diego, CA. Michael has worked with producers Dean Miller in Nashville and Trystan Matthews in New York to record and master his debut single “Tragedy” and upcoming EP, to be titled “Loved & Lost.” In the first week of its release, on December 1, 2023, “Tragedy” garnered over 7000 streams on Spotify and has been added to over 100 playlists.
Following the loss of his dad when Michael was 10, he asked Santa for an acoustic guitar. On Christmas morning, Michael sat on the steps of the family’s mobile home and began teaching himself how to play. For Michael, music has always been a way to understand and connect with the world, especially with experiences that are difficult to process. Michael channels significant life challenges in writing country songs that he hopes will resonate with listeners.
