Mehlek Pfisha

Mehlek Pfisha, born Nathaniel Henry, is a testimony of God merciful grace and rehabilitation. From stealing candy bars in corner stores to breaking and entering with intent to commit a felony, Mehlek's life was once full of rebellion, deviancy and mischief. Although born and raised by both his paternal parents, Mehlek found himself constantly in trouble with the law, in school and at home. His life was suddenly shaken after being arrested for burglary in Aug 2005. After pleading guilty to two felonies and a misdemeanor, his 25 years worth of prison charges were reduced to a mere 5 years of probation with time served.

On July 17, 2006 Nathaniel, dedicated his life back to Christ. Now, after years of studying and a matter of God lead circumstances, Nathaniel finds himself expressing his past trial and tribulations the way he knows best, through the art of Hip Hop. Mehlek Pfisha is the voice crying out from the CONCRETE JUNGLE. His goal is to encourage his lost brothers, whom may still be thrilled by street dreams, the "excitement" of street life and the false sense of honor and respect that plagues our youth through gang violence and gangsta rap.
His efforts are to persuade his brethren that the bondage in which they have been chained, can only be broken and thru Jesus the Christ.

Mehlek currently spends his time ministering through hip hop at local churches and cutting hair for those less fortunate through his local church's homeless ministry. Mehlek has been happily married for 5 years and has one 2 year old daughter. Some of his hobbies include, weightlifting, cardio, basketball, family time and enjoying the scenic wonders of the earth.
