Mavenne releases the catchy single Beating Drum. Although her debut track is very commercial, the 16 year old songwriter and producer likes to consider herself more electro-pop and alternative. If you think about it, dream pop which came out of the 80’s, has rarely birthed mega HITS and big stars with the exception of artists like Lana Del Rey. Why? Maybe because the songs are a bit depressing and the lyrics are existential. That’s why Mavenne could take it to the next level. Simply, the Ohio native is creating radio-worthy dream pop that has big choruses and hooks. Additionally, she plans to roll out more tracks in the coming months. - Kings of A & R

Mavenne is very humbled and honored to have been nominated a Top 3 winner for Pop this past year in the prestigious John Lennon Songwriting Contest (Session I) organized by Yoko Ono! Charting in the TOP 10 GLOBALLY on ReverbNation (TWICE! -out of 3.8 million artists on their site in 2018), as well as a prolific composer of Alternative and Electro-pop music, singer-songwriter Mavenne exults in making use of every note of her three-octave range. In 2014, Mavenne received the VIP Choice Award for Best Singer in her age category at AMTC's international Shine talent competition, an honor conferred on her by veterans of the record industry, Broadway, and Hollywood. 2015 saw her industry presence on the rise, as she was nominated a semi-finalist in the 8,000-strong International Songwriting Competition-sponsored division called "Unsigned Only" (in the "Teen" category), and later that year, rising to the Top 3 in the Gospel Music Association's national singer-songwriter competition for unsigned talent called "Immerse". While at Immerse, Mavenne shared the stage with American Idol contestant Colton Dixon during the finals. In 2018, she was honored to have been GLOBALLY ranked on ReverbNation's Pop charts at #10 (in March) and #7 (in June) and NATIONALLY at #8 AND #6 respectively. Recently, Mavenne was nominated one of the Top 10 Alternative Artists in the International Acoustic Music Awards, a performance award sponsored by the USA Songwriting Competition. 2019 has Mavenne working on a forthcoming album and exploring the world of producing.
