Marwan Boulaid is a French/Moroccan Guitarist, Composer and Instructor Born in France.
After graduating «summa cum laude» (the highest distinction) from the American School of Modern Music in Paris, Marwan was awarded a scholarship to the Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA. He studied with great American guitar teachers as Tim Miller, Bruce Sanders, Julien Kasper and Mick Goodrick, which allowed him to discover new approaches to the instrument.
Because of Covid-19, Marwan returned to France and took advantage of this time to study at the Berklee College of music online and write his own compositions combining jazz harmony and rock energy.
Marwan is involved in jazz/fusion pedagogical section in the French magazine «Guitare Xtreme» . He participated in the «United Guitars vol 3 and 4» project with Mark Letierri, Sylvain Luc, Jean Marie Ecay, Olivier Kikteff, Robben Ford, Frank Gambale and many other American and French guitarists. He also teaches guitar lessons and ensemble at the American School Of Music in Paris.
Marwan is thrilled to announce the release of his debut EP “Capture”! This instrumental EP is filled with vibrant colors and showcases a distinctive fusion of modern jazz, rock, and pop, creating a captivating and introspective musical experience.Band Members
