Marty Rosen

Marty Rosen has a diverse musical background; he earned Bachelor's Degree in Music (classical guitar) from the University of Louisville, has played jazz, blues, and country, but now focuses entirely on contemporary acoustic music with an emphasis on contemporary regional folk and singer-songwriter music.  Beyond music, he is an academic librarian who started his career as a music librarian (he now serves as Director of the Indiana University Southeast Library). And he is a freelance writer who writes regularly about culture (high and popular, music, theater, dance), food and dining, and travel for the Louisville Courier-Journal (where he as served as restaurant critic for the last 8 years), the Louisville Eccentric Observer (LEO, Louisville's alt-weekly), Louisville Magazine, and the Kentucky Department of Travel.
