Mars Jackson, Misra Records newest signee, is the first hip-hop act on the label in 18 years. Considered to be a breath of fresh air, his style is fun, exciting, and adventurous. Mars has performed at the Carnegie Museum of Art, and Pittsburgh’s very own Mr. Smalls Theatre, Club Cafe and Spirit Lodge . He has opened for acts such as The Internet, St. Beauty , BJ the Chicago Kid, Big Krit, and Lupe Fiasco. From a diverse Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania hip hop scene, Mars is a multifaceted artist who utilizes different influences to cultivate his inimitable style.
For six years, Mars Jackson has worked to get to the top in Pittsburgh; he’s put in his hours and earned the respect. Released on May 4th, 2018 Good Days Never Last Forever , his first full length album produced by Nice Rec is an artist’s statement, an introduction to the rest of the world—Mars Jackson’s ticket to the next stop.
