"Mark Pires"

"It takes a good songwriter to get songs on TV shows, win talent contests and garner management and productions deals. But it takes a good showman to realize when a little more is needed from a live performance. Mark Pires did all of the former and now he's on to the latter, deciding to add magic and comedy to his live act, presumably giving his performances a homespun variety show vibe. Come for the Christopher Walken impressions, stay for the groovy, breezy Pop tunes.
Dig it: Jack Johnson, Napoleon Dynamite impersonations, Sting genetically spliced with Dave Matthews (MB)"
