All of our lives, we're told in school by our teachers and parents that we can be whatever we want to be; that we should reach for the stars. It isn't until we're forced to make our way into the world of careers that our dreams become second-hand. Lux Revival is a band from Omaha, Nebraska, that is starting to prove that hard work and dedication can bring great things to an unknown part of the map. John Staples founded Lux Revival in early 2015 with Alex Holliger and Morgan Giesick, hoping to find a new outlet to write and record music. Apart from being from alumni from the School Of Rock Omaha, the trio had very similar taste in music and playing live. After roughly a year of positive chemistry together, Lux released their first major studio EP, 'This Is A Warning'. Their sound can be traced to modern influences such as Royal Blood, with classic dark undertones of Deep Purple, The Mars Volta, and Rage Against The Machine. Lux Revival is currently working on a full-length album in studio, and has been playing shows for the promotion of their EP release since July 2016. They will be looking at an album release in 2017, and a tour to follow!
