‘Lugey, a Hip Hop and R&B artist from Knoxville, Tennessee has been recording and creating music for about 7 years. He started writing songs in high school and that developed into recording and mixing. He was placed into a group first and started traveling all over the southeast doing shows. The group was young and unprepared for what was in front of them. After a couple of years, the group split up and Lugey’s solo career began. He was always looked at as the mastermind behind the moves and the music. His solo career did not surprise many people because they saw the talent in the young artist. Lugey began promoting in his hometown and started getting opening show spots for the mainstream artists that came through the city. He started with passing out his albums hand to hand to create a buzz in his city. Now Lugey is continuing to do shows and promote his album with hopes of being picked up by a major label.’
