Uncle BALZAK is a Canadian rock band from Barrie, Ontario whose music is best described as arena rock.
The band started as a songwriting partnership between Graham Plug and Luke Leone mid-2011. Right from the start their intent was studying, writing and recording hit songs and as the band came so did a cool, solid, fun, rock band brand.
Uncle BALZAK employed the veteran talents of gold/platinum award winner engineer/producer Michael Jack for their debut album Audiosexual(one who is obsessed with music) which was released in Jan, 2013.
Producers choice of radio singles are: Sorry About The Wait, Dirty Money Angel and Livin It Up.
The bands single Path Of Destruction from their EP Uncle BALZAK 4X4 was voted as the best song by fans in the rock category at MuzicNotez.com.
The song captured the attention of Mr. Jim Vallance(hit songwriter/producer-Bryan Adams, Aerosmith). Months previous, as a songwriting duo, Shamus and The Dragster won a free recording day at Lake Effect Studios which resulted in the release of their single Livin It Up.
