American artist Lexi Cline releases new single Martinis in the Clouds. Catchy in its own right. A song for the day. Lexi delivers astounding vocals over snappy melodies.
Speaking of the track, she says: ”This song comes from the idea of being unapologetically crazy about someone and not paying mind to the destination but instead, who’s sitting next to you on the flight.”

Lexi Cline has released her newest titles called ‘Choose’ a few weeks ago. Lexi brought some fresh and distinctive sounds and tones to her music and I really love it. She is mastering this art perfectly and the quality of her music is awesome. This track has produced and mixed in a beautiful way and it’s gonna be your favorite track in your music playlist. Her writing style is creative and impressive and her vocal delivery is attractive. I have to admit that Lexi Cline took all of my attention and I really love her beautiful style. - Yellow Black Music

Lexi Cline, 21, is an entertainer, pop artist, actress, director, and film student who thrives on stage as a performer.
She recently released her new single Better Late Than Never and it sounds awesome. I like the upbeat melodies. Besides, the vocals are crystal clear. Furthermore, I am also a fan of the groove and dynamic chorus.
On the single, Lexi says: Better Late Than Never takes the idea of a period of time in someones life where they might not of been happy, they might have struggled pursuing something, maybe a boy/girl wasn’t treating them right so they broke up, maybe someone quit their job, or moved somewhere they have always wanted to move, and allows someone to look back on that time and think “better late than never”. This song explores a fun, newer, and non traditional pop sound as one is carried through a story of someone feeling stuck and eventually getting out of bed and changing their life for the better! Sometimes it’s okay to take your time and figure out what you want in life… but take that risk!!! “If good things come to those who wait, I’m gonna get a bottle and celebrate”.
Lexi is a rising star, she’s so creative. Better Late Than Never defines good music. Be sure to stream it as soon as possible! - Lefuturewave

Following the success of her first EP, pop artist Lexi Cline is ready to share her next project with the world with her upcoming single “Thin Ice”. The Colorado native shared a cheeky lyric teaser on her Instagram (@lexiclinemusic) before announcing the October 2nd release.
“The one thing that’s kept me moving is the time I have had to rest and become a more vulnerable, true, and inspired artist…I’ve never felt more myself in this next project,” Cline proclaimed online.
Lexi Cline dons a contagiously colorful aura and a bubbly brand sure to brighten the day of anyone who comes across her art. Cline’s potential to become one of pop’s icons is undeniable and exhibited in everything she puts out. With neoteric production and peppy energy, Cline has established a unique sound that only she can fully own. A champion of authenticity, she hopes to inspire others to do the same in celebrating what makes them who they are.
“I want to make music that inspires people to be exactly who they are,” Cline says. “Embracing yourself is the most powerful thing in the world, and if I can help somebody get there, I know I’m doing something right.”
We can’t wait to hear this new side of Lexi Cline as she continues to define her artistry; October 2nd can’t come soon enough! Keep in touch with Lexi’s social media to stay up-to-date on her future releases and announcements. - Crank It
Top Ten: Shout Out on Lexi Cline - Keep Walking Music
“So This is Love” is such a catchy song that really culminates dating in the modern age! What is the story behind this song?
Lexi: The song idea for “So This Is Love” came to me when I was talking to a friend who wanted to get back in the dating scene and I suggested she try a dating app. The problem is we both agreed dating apps can be super unimpressive, especially when comparing dating in the modern age to the Cinderella love story we have dreamt of since we were little. It seems the minute you match with someone on a dating app it's just a gamble whether you’ll even make it to date number 1. Then I dug even deeper and began to list off all the phases of what I think makes up dating in the modern age. First, you match on a dating app and you typically facetime to make sure they’re not a serial killer, second you go out somewhere casual for drinks cause no one wants to pay for dinner, third you get stood up, and fourth more often than not you get ghosted. I realize not all love stories that come from the dating app end up this way, but it seems it's always a series of plot twists.
I am a huge Disney fan, so I love that you included an excerpt from Cinderella! What inspired you to feature part of it and name your song after it?
Lexi: I wanted to write an introductory melody similar to Illene Woods “So This Is Love” to catch people’s attention right from the beginning of the song. However, I wanted the whole concept to have a twist. The idea was to create my own rendition of “So This Is Love” from Cinderella but make it a bash on modern day dating. Too many people struggle with finding someone on a dating app and I wanted to bring the story of dating in the 20th century to life.
What does your songwriting process look like? It’s crazy how you can write such a great song from your LA apartment!
Lexi: Truly my songwriting process continues to change. I find myself constantly growing and becoming a better writer from the people I get the chance to write with. This song was written by two of my favorite and extremely talented songwriters, Nadia Vaeh & Henry Ingraham. I came into the session with the idea of writing a rendition on Cinderella’s “So This Is Love” and they both loved the idea. We wrote this song in about an hour. From there, Henry Ingraham produced it and did an amazon job captivating such a unique, edgy, and 80’s synth vibe into the overall sound of the song.
Is there any artist you hope to see perform live one day? Maybe even collaborate with?
Lexi: YES! That would for sure hands down be Josie Dunne. She has been a huge role model to me since I moved to Nashville in 2019 and I continue to listen to her music all the time! I have gotten to see her perform live once in Nashville and her energy, stage presence, and humbleness has continued to have such an influence on me. If I ever got the chance to be Josie’s opener it would be a dream!!
What was it like playing your first headlining show in Colorado earlier this year? I’m sure it was AMAZING!
Lexi: Performing my first headlining show at Larimer Lounge back in January was an incredible experience and awesome turn out. It was the biggest show I have ever performed and it was super cool to see so many of my friends and family come out to see me! I have always felt so supported by my hometown Littleton, Co. and can’t wait to perform there again at an even bigger venue!
It was so sweet of you to send a cute letter and photo to your two fans who you were at your show in Denver! What do your fans mean to you and do you have anything you’d like to say to them?
Lexi: Oh my gosh I couldn’t do it without my little fans. They are the most inspirational part about getting to be an artist. They simply fill my heart and make everything I do as an artist worth it. I will always support and appreciate my fans because I want to write music that people can relate to. - Pop Passion Music Blog
Quirky, magnetic and honest to a fault, newcomer Lexi Cline puts a shamelessly vulnerable spin on pop music— her songs aren’t just open-book, they’re lyrical diary entries. Layering deceptively snappy melodies with candid prose, Cline’s confession-inclined artistry manifests itself so seamlessly, it’s hard to tell whether she’s pulling from her diary or from yours. Admittedly staring anxiety in the eyes on a daily basis, Cline proclaims “I want to make music that inspires people to be exactly who they are. “Embracing yourself is the most powerful thing in the world, and if I can help somebody get there, I know I’m doing something right.” Having already dropped her latest single "So This Is Love" , Cline's next single will drop late August which will pave the way for her upcoming EP "Sink or Swim."
Please share a story that includes a happy memory as an artist and has hugely impacted your artistry.
I always knew I wanted to pursue my music and be an artist but when I graduated highschool I was accepted to Colorado State University which I decided to go into as a psychology major! I never really felt like college life was for me but I wanted to give it a shot. I would study really hard during the week and on the weekends all my friends would go to frat parties and I would go to an open mic night in Fort Collins, CO. After about 5 months of my freshman year I told my parents I wanted to move to Nashville after the school year was up. This didn’t come as a huge shock to my family because they knew how much I loved making music but they wanted me to finish getting a degree. So I decided I would be a full time online student pursuing a psych degree at the same time I would move to Nashville at 19 years old, pursue my music career, get a job, and live in and out of host homes. Sounds crazy right? And yeah, at times it sounded crazy to me too. But I continued to push through the awkwardness. My psych degree had an emphasis on human health and behavior which meant I had to take labs, which also meant I would be receiving real life sheep brains, cow hearts, and pig kidneys in the mail. I'm serious! Real animal organs I would receive in the mail and dissect them on the dining room table in this kind family's kitchen that I barely knew because they simply just opened up their home for me to live in while I was looking for roommates! I enjoyed my psych degree because it was so interesting but after about a year of online classes I realized I really needed community so I transferred to a small university in Nashville where I finished my degree as a cinematic arts major! I always kept making music and meeting new people in the music industry and the year before I graduated, I released my first EP “Better Late Than Never”!
How do you choose to lead a Happy Healthy life as an artist?
I like to incorporate exercise into my everyday lifestyle! A normal day for me is usually busy from start to finish with making content, starting/ making my merch clothing line, booking shows, creating graphics to promote the shows, and co-writes with other artists. But through all the craziness, I always find time to exercise. I think it is so important it should always be a priority. It keeps my brain happy, my body healthy, and my mind clear and motivated. I like to talk to my family everyday whether it's a text, phone call, or facetime because I do often get homesick! I always like to know when I get to see them next, it keeps me excited about the future!
Who did you learn from to instill those values?
After moving to Nashville and realizing I was going to have to grow up pretty fast in order to make it in the music industry, it was the people I was beginning to become friends with that helped remind me that I was okay where I was. I think as an artist we all tend to feel unsettled because we’re always chasing the next step, dream, or goal! But having good friends in my life helped remind me to slow down and enjoy the process!
Was it hard work to make sure that you focused on your well-being and not only your art?
Yeah! Very hard. I personally get so caught up in how I am gonna pay the bills, what content I’m gonna make, what show am I going to so I can network, etc that selfcare always gets put on the back burner. To be honest, I am still trying to figure out how to provide myself with a work/life balance but everyday I do find myself a little closer.
Was there a turning point in how you decided to put yourself first?
If I work for too long with no breaks or any fun I tend to get sick! It’s super bizarre, almost like stress makes my immune system low and I tend to get sick! The more I can balance my stress, the more I feel better everyday. This year I struggled with vocal nodules (which I didn’t think you could get… but I am here to tell you, you can!) I had to be put on strict vocal rest for two weeks for my vocal cords to heal. I was actually really upset about this because I naturally assumed this was going to be a huge set back. After two weeks they approved me to move on to voice therapy and I have been in voice therapy now for 4 months. My voice has healed but it does have ups and downs. I have good days and bad but this process helped remind me how precious and delicate my voice is and I do treat it a lot better than I ever have.
How do you like to promote a healthy lifestyle?
I like to promote mental health and how important it is because I know anxiety very well. It is so important to fill my daily life with things that make me feel good that’s not just making music. I have found myself needing to feel happy with my living environment, being able to provide for myself, community, etc. before I can make music that makes other people feel happy. If I am constantly inspiring myself by meeting new people and trying new things which keeps my brain happy and healthy, I can continue to feel passionate about creating.
In what ways are you connecting with fans to check in on each other?
I just recently decided to begin the launch of my first merch clothing line “Anxiety Club”. I wanted to do something different and environment friendly so I decided to thrift crew necks, all different colors and sizes, wash them, iron them, and then brand them. I think resale and thrift stores are doing so well and people genuinely enjoy shopping at them which is why I think this idea could thrive. My idea stemmed from always wanting to make people feel noticed which is why I decided I would start promoting anxiety and bring more awareness to it through my upcoming merch clothing line launching in July.
Who checks in on YOU when you need it most?
I'm really fortunate to have a pretty big support team. My mom is the best at always being a call away with the perfect advice and reminds me I am doing really well, my dad is great at reminding me what my goals are and keeping my brain project oriented, and my sister is my best friend who makes life so much more fun and she helps keep me excited about life in general. It is hard being away from family so my friends here in LA are the ones who I make plans with so I have fun things to look forward to, they help me come up with content ideas, help make my merch clothing line, go see movies together, and just sending texts to check in which I am the kind of person who loves keeping up with people on the daily.
Is there a song, book, movie, show, or anything that always gives you the motivation you need?
I think what gives me the biggest motivation is supporting other local and independent artists. I love streaming new music, attending new artists shows, becoming friends with new artists, and writing music with up and coming artists. That is what makes making music so much fun, getting to meet new people and explore/ challenge new levels of my creativity each time.
What is the mantra of 2022?!
Incorporate adventure into your life so you continue to challenge your brain to adapt to new things and become an even stronger creative.
Give all the inside scoop on your latest project!
I will be releasing a new single titled “Orange Juice” in August which I am really excited about! I consider it my “brunch anthem” a bop for the morning on your way to brunch after a crazy night before. This single will pave the way for my next EP “Sink or Swim” which will begin releasing in early October!

xWe had the good fortune of connecting with Lexi Cline and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Lexi, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
As an independent pop artist I am constantly thinking about what I am going to do next. Whether it’s releasing a new single, shooting new content, networking at shows or live events, connecting with songwriters for cowrites, launching my merch clothing line, email outreach to book shows, connect with other artists looking for openers, etc. It can be a very busy, challenging, and exhausting lifestyle… yet I wouldn’t trade it for the world! Finding a work life balance is something I am still working on. I have learned that what keeps me a float is surrounding myself with good friends and a good living environment. I think it is super important to feel comfortable in my day to day life so that I can continue to feel positive, passionate, and driven to be a creative in the music industry. I also make sure to exercise everyday, even if it means getting up earlier to get some kind of workout in because I know how beneficial it is to my mental health. The music industry is a unique lifestyle and in order to keep up the energy it takes to pursue it, I will always make sure to put my mental health first!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well my favorite spots in LA would for sure consist of lots of music venues and good food! I think my all time favorite spot so far I have experienced food wise is Beauty and Essex located in Hollywood. It was a recommendation by my mom who visited and a friend of hers suggested it. I highly recommend the grilled cheese bites. I would also suggest Ivy At The Shore located in Santa Monica. I took my grandparents here spontaneously and I absolutely loved the atmosphere, food, and customer service. I also love the rooftop at Mama’s Shelter. Sometimes they have live comedy shows but the atmosphere is really vibey for a sunday afternoon hangout spot. As far as good live music spots go, I recommend The Mint to see all different kinds of musicians performing nightly, but always check the website to make sure, I would also recommend Adult’s Only which is a fun spot for live music, and lastly, Molly Malone’s. I have actually performed at all three of these spots and highly recommend each one if you are a musician looking for a spot to perform. If you love day drinking/ bar hopping I have just recently been spending lots of time on Main Street in Santa Monica and love the moscow mule at Jameson’s Pub and then you can just walk to the beach!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to dedicate my shoutout to my mom, dad, & sister. I was fortunate to grow up surrounded by a very supportive family who always showed up to see the play I was in, a talent show, an open mic, etc! They knew from the start how much music meant to me and even put up with me singing Carrie Underwood’s “Two Black Cadillacs” at the top of my lungs through my mic and amp on high volume until like 11 pm on a school night. I think they always knew I was going to eventually want to move to Nashville to pursue a music career and when the time did come it was super hard to move away from home. I moved to Nashville at age 19 to begin this path and quickly became very homesick. I am very thankful that every time I called one of them they would always pick up and listen to me talk about my day or a story, because at the end of the day I really did miss them a lot. I now live in LA where I continue to pursue my music career and have made some really solid ground over the last year. Being away from home hasn’t gotten easier but I think I have gotten more used to it. My mom, dad, and sister are always excited to share and talk about my music to their friends, always come to see me perform live in different cities, and are always a phone call away and for that I am forever thankful! - Shoutout LA
