Lansing Native, Lexus Jackson, has been singing her whole life. Some of her biggest inspirations were artists like Mariah Carey, SWV, and TLC. In her mind, it has never been a question of if she would be a star it was a matter of when. In 2011, she released her first album titles "No Looking Back."
After beginning college slowed down Lexus’ focus on music, Lex J was nearly nonexistent. That is until 2016, when she performed at both Common Ground and Soaring Eagle Casino as a featured artist to rapper Diamond Jones. Being on stage ignited a fire in Lexus that pushed her to create another project,“Captured EP” was released on September 29, 2017. Since then Lex J has performed her own set at Common Ground 2018 and her social accounts have grown tremendously. Her newest project "Let's Get Personal" drops May 3rd.
The response with the first two singles, “Caught Cold” and “Poison,” has been overwhelmingly positive. And although this is not her first project, it is looking to beginning of an Era.
