Bio
Letters From The Dead was formed in the fall of 2010. It's music has become the embodiment of the classic 90's Seattle grunge sound fused with modern touches. All the hard work and effort that we put into our craft has taken us further than we could have ever imagined from the start in 2010. We have had the honor to share the stage with many National and World Touring acts. We still don't forget our locals and roots though. Without our fans, our families, and inspirations we wouldn't be where we are now, and we appreciate each one of you.
National and World Touring Acts we've opened for: Puddle of Mudd, Fuel, Local H, Smile Empty Soul, Candlebox, 10 Years, Trapt, Saving Abel, Tantric, Sick Puppies, Nonpoint, Green Jelly, Saliva, XEB (Ex-Original Members of Third Eye Blind), Bobaflex, Austin John Winkler (Hinder), J.R. Richards (Dishwalla), and Chuck Mosley (Faith No More).
Band Members
Robert Simpson - Vocalist and guitarist from a young age, Robert Simpson is an experienced song writer and front man with strong influences in hard rock, grunge/alternative and nu-metal. Founded Letters From the Dead in the fall of 2010 and since then has shared the stage with many National and World touring acts.
Jarod Carrasca - 19+ year bassist who has opened for many National and World acts and endorsed by Spector Basses. Was inspired to play bass at a young age due to how I always seemed to pick out the bass while listening to music. I didn't choose to play bass, bass chose me. My inspiration comes from Tim Commerford (Rage Against the Machine), Justin Chancellor (Tool), and Sam Rivers (Limp Bizkit). Additional inspiration comes from the happiness I see on the faces of our fans, it's what drives me to play.
Bunny Tyler - Guitarist that started her musical journey pretty young. I forged my own path.I ventured from bass into guitar and vocals working with different musicians and styles and eventually joined Letters from the Dead as the rhythm guitarist in 2016. My passion has always been to help empower and inspire women and girls wanting to get into the rock scene. My main influences are Motley Crue, Kittie, Wednesday 13, Joan Jett, Alice Cooper, Rob Zombie, Motionless in White, the Misfits, the Genitorturers, L7, and Betty Blowtorch.
Jeremy Isbell - 30+ year percussionist, National, and World tour experience. Worked with London Records, Atlantic Records, and Soft Drive Records. Inspirational people in my life consist of past and present Artists, Engineers, Managers, and fans that have made me a better person to pursue my passion.
