Leroy Osbourne

is a singer/songwriter, producer/arranger and a multi instrumentalist. A 20 year resident of Glendora, Los Angeles CA.  Born in the UK.  He has over 30 years experience as a professional musician, primarily as a session singer. His writing and singing performances with such  popular artists as Wham, George Michael,Tears for fears, Jeff Lorber, Rick Braun, and Eric Marienthal , to name just a few, attests to his versatility as a musician. Leroy has established a continuing association with world renowned musical artiste Sade, since 1984 when he first joined her band. He is a featured singer/guitarist/ flautist and percussionist in her DVD of the Lovers Rock American tour in 2002 and the Soldier of Love world tour  DVD 2011.  He is also prominently featured alongside Sade in music videos. Feel no Pain, Nothing can come between us, Haunt me, ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ymu6PqCgKPw ) and Paradise,  not to mention numerous TV appearances in Europe and America in  2010, promoting Sade’s latest album “Soldier Of Love”, as a singer, dancer and guitarist, on such popular shows as David Letterman, Jay Leno, Dancing with the Stars, Ellen, The View and Craig Ferguson and Jimmy Kimmel.

Leroy attended Citrus college in Glendora CA in 2000 and maintained a 4.0 grade average in musical theory and practical studies over a two year period, from a desire to systematize his natural musical abilities, and to improve his musical writing skills. His studies in harmony and arranging under the professorship of Norman Mamey proved to be invaluable in his development as a musician.

2015. Leroy currently has over 30 students as a private music instructor in voice, bass guitar, guitar and drums in the Glendora area. He is also embarking on a studio recording project of inspirational music in the Christian/gospel genre in collaboration with other writers.  Leroy will be joining Sade for her 50th Anniversary World Tour coming soon!

Leroy was also the  worship minister and music director at Charter Oak Lighthouse Christian fellowship in Covina Los Angeles CA. from 2009- 2014.
