For as long as I can remember music has been a part of my life. I was drawn to it. I still have notebooks filled with lyrics that I wrote as soon as I knew how to write.

Music has the ability to shift the energy of an entire room. It can be healing and inspiring.Music is a way to connect and relate with others.It has a beautiful way of bringing people together.For me, music was a guiding light through a challenging season in my life. At age 16 I lost a close friend to suicide. It devastated me and changed my perspective on life. Through that difficult time it was music that became a saving grace. The songs I listened to through that difficult time helped me through the grieving and healing process. Music became an effective coping mechanism for me.
