Legit is an artist born in West Africa, Liberia but moved to the US when he was a young child because of war in his country. He would often listen to his mother sing around the house and it grew in him a love for music. After deciding that music was his path, Legit committed himself to not only music but becoming a great artist one day. Influenced by the sounds of Hip Hop, Reggae,Dancehall, and the West African music of his home country, Legit formed his own sound. Legit's music is a diverse and universal sound that encompasses his journey but relates to all people.
Legit has dropped several mixtapes, and currently has a single on ITunes called “On my mind.’ Legit is also currently working on a new project for release in 2017. His live experience includes opening for the Yang Yang Twins, Bone Crusher, and Huey. Besides music, Legit's goal is to go back to his home country to help as a mentor and advocate for less privileged children. He would like to be an inspiration to children who have dreams but don’t have the helping hands to guide them in the pursuit of their goals.
