Legacy Band Bio: Legacy is composed of close friends, Mike Jones (Bass Guitar), Roy Myles Jr. (Saxophone), Sid Downs, (Saxophone), and brothers Kenneth “Ken” White (Guitar) and Tony White (Drums). The band member’s relationship’s developed in the early school years and as members of the same church. Their first band together was established in Elementary School and continued throughout High School. Band members Mike and Roy both departed for Military Service after High School serving worldwide for over 20 years. Sid, Ken, and Tony continued playing musically in the Washington D.C., Baltimore region with different bands.
After a 35 year separation the guys decided it was time to reunite and finish a lifelong dream launching the group “Legacy Band.” Nehemiah White (Keyboards) a great talent and personality who played with Mike for over 10 years was warmly welcomed to join the Band. Legacy Band plays a mixture of Jazz, R&B, Christian, and Original music. They are all dedicated family men serving in various ministries with a musical foundation that make up the “Legacy Band Groove.”
