The Story...

Combining heavy driving guitar riffs, fierce grooves and vocal melodies that hook you;
Left Turn City has a drive and vision for their brand of rock and roll.

In the summer of 2006 and on the heels of a band split; bass player Jerry, guitarist Jay and vocalist, Eric were in search of a new drummer and new direction. Enter, Jeff, fellow drumming resident of the Rehearsal Factory, also looking to join a new band. Timing couldnt have been better for these 4 to collaborate and thus, Left Turn City was born and the journey began.

Equipped with a self-produced, recorded demo LTC took to the streets performing throughout Ontario, sharing stages with the likes of My Darkest Days, Hail the Villain, and FYI.
Toronto fans and friends came out to support the local indie band creating quite the following.
With a few more songs in the repertoire, recorded with producer Steve Rizun of Drive Records; Left Turn City secured performances at Chathams Rock Stock festival featuring Collective Soul, and an opening act for The Trews at the St. Thomas Summer Blast Festival.
In June of 2009, LTC was made a finalist in the Paragon Band Clash and have taken the stage many times at Rock the Valley in Cambridge; this included one performance as an opening act for John Corabi (former Motley Crue).

With more determination and allegiance for their music, Left Turn City went back to the studio, this time with esteemed producer Matthew Wagner. The band also spent some time at Studio 92 with Juno award winning engineer Norm Barker recording some of their most heavy hitting, crowd pleasing songs. No doubt, they have made an impact to the Toronto indie scene.

In the summer of 2011, LTC was included in the DECA music conference hosted by Universal Music and garnered a runner up award at the Barrie New Music Fest for the best alt-rock category.

Armed with a new 5 song EP, Left Turn Citys new road map has them on the right track to recapturing the grunge scene of the early 90s with their own stylistic, brand approach which they will continue to push to new rock levels.
