Bio

Laura Dowding is a singer/songwriter from Westerly, Rhode Island. Her music has been classified as neo-soul, R&B, and jazz. Her style and sound has frequently been compared to the vocal powerhouses of Adele, Amy Winehouse, Lauryn Hill, and Joss Stone. Laura has performed across the US and in major cities such as New Haven, Minneapolis, New York City, and Los Angeles. She has performed, and is one of few regular acts, at the Westerly Summer Pops for over 30,000 people. As well, she opened for a nearly sold-out show for award-winning violinist Damien Escobar at The Garde Arts Center in New London, Connecticut. Laura works regularly with award winning, industry professionals and In 2018, she is co-starring in a Webseries. She is set to release multiple new singles in the coming year.
