Latest Rumor

Two of the band members Maureen and Joe met in college at the University of London and started playing music together in the UK, then onto Chicago to attend Columbia College and The Chicago Conservatory of Music forming the original band Orpheus in the 80's, yes stationed at the Space Place in South Water Market playing familiar places like the Thirsty Whale, Rusty Nail and many others. Maureen trained in opera and studied guitar and Joe started teaching himself guitar at the age of 5. They have toured with other bands over the years around the US and have now formed the band Latest Rumor, auditioning countless musicians to find not just the finest musicians but artists.
Sean De Roche guitarist and singer from New Jersey grew up in a musical family, son of world famous percussionist Ray De Roche he lives and breathes music.
Ray Somera bassist and background vocals an accomplished bass player and lead guitarist lays down some incredible bass lines.
Our versatile drummer David Clarke, there is nothing on drums he can't play, he has played every style of drumming, seriously fantastic drumming with a double foot bass drum.
