"Lasses Rogers Band's strong new album is cocktail of blues, soul, and rock"

Lasses Rogers Band has been busy creating some new music lately. As a result, they put out a brand new studio album titled Keep Up. The release features 11 songs, making for slightly under one hour of music. The album kicks off with the first, self-titled track. This song instantly captures the listener's mindset and attention, reeling us into the mood and feel of this particular album. The second song on this release is a track titled "Please Say Goodbye," which combines a 3/4 tempo with a timeless pop-rock arrangement, reminiscent of bands such as Fleetwood Mac or even Chicago, among others.

The song "Unchain My Heart" begins with a killer slap bass riff, and it later evolves in a cocktail of funk, rock, and blues. The following track, "Raven Haired Girl" has a happy twist and a Motown-inspired tone, which feels bright and colorful. The song "True Love" follows along the same line, and it has a uniquely soulful rhythm, combined with some phenomenal lead guitar chops.

The vocals are bluesy and far-reaching, showcasing a classic R&B and Soul vibe. The following number is a song titled "Yo Siempre Te Quise Aquì, which actually features a soothing soundscape and a nostalgic arrangement that brings a cinematic feel to the music. If you are a fan of artists like Eagles, as well as Mamas & Papas, this one is right for you. "Ain't So Alone" is a playful song with a unique atmosphere and a creative arrangement, capturing the band's passion for the sounds of the 60s and 70s, and their ability to recreate those vibes for a modern audience.

The song "Leap of Faith," follows along the same line, but it goes for a more atmospheric vibe, especially with the killer guitar work at the intro, almost going for a feedback-driven oscillation of guitar. "En Tu Indiferencia" is as timeless as can be, and the song's romantic twist speaks for itself. It's a good contrast with the next song, "Devil Wants My Soul," which captures the visceral essence of early blues music. Last but not least, "Meant to Say" is the ultimate curtain closer. - Jazz Corner

"Lasses Rogers Band “Keep Up” 2020 Colombia Blues Rock"

Group from Colombia. When listening to the title track, you will be carried away by the melody, instrumental riot of the piano, delicate violin, guitar ..
