Double vision is a unique seasoned duo comprised of two best friends Didi Grisé Moses and Roxanne Charette. Both started in the entertainment industry at very young ages, learning to sing, act, play drums, guitar and piano. Over the course of many years each have had fruitful and productive musical careers performing with and along side many major country artists during their time living in Nashville. These acts have included the likes of Dolly Parton, Merle Haggard, George Jones, Vince Gil, and Martina MacBride just to name just a few. Traveling became a way of life for the girls, performing at major events like Nashville’s Fan Fair, the MGM Grand, Las Vegas, venues from New England, including the Cape Cod Symphony to California and throughout Canada. Additionally they have performed all over the world from cruise ships to Olympia, Paris, Popkom, Berlin, and Wembley Arena, London. Throughout the years, Roxanne and Didi have recorded countless solo and duo albums, national commercials, jingles, and vocals on major international hits, appearing on local, national and international TV, radio, and even winning Canada’s version of American Idol.
Didi comes from a quaint small island in Rhode Island and Roxanne is from the beautiful countryside of Montreal, Canada. Though growing up in relatively different surroundings they shared a common link, a rich French Canadian heritage. One of their favorite projects has to be the recording of their French/English CD called Premier. Roxanne and Didi’s voices blend perfectly together enriched by the stark differences in vocal styles. Roxanne has a lush velvety low tone while Didi has a clear powerful high register. Together they form a full sound that blends in perfect harmony. They now both call Florida home.
It was a no brainer that the girls would venture into doing the Ladies of the 70’s since they have sung these songs for many years in various bands throughout their musical career. Nothing could be better than performing the greatest hits from the greatest ladies of the seventies. The decision to start this project was effortless and fun and they have had a blast producing this show for you.
“A
long long time ago
I can still remember how
That music used to make me smile
And I knew if I had my chance
That I could make those people dance
And maybe they'd be happy for a while “ – Don McLean 1971
