Bio
Kyle was born in Shreveport, Louisiana, but moved to Oklahoma with his family at an early age and made his home in Edmond where he currently lives today. His early musical influences were “rhythm & blues” songs his mother listened to around the house and in the car. In high school Kyle’s friends were cowboys who were active in rodeos and Future Farmers of America, and he listened to their music – country music.
Kyle is no stranger to being on a stage having grown up playing baseball and pitching, he was used to being on center stage and in front of an audience. Kyle would listen to country music on the bus on the way to baseball games and would sing for his teammates so with encouragement from his friends and mother, Kyle decided to take his talent to various country music opry’s in Oklahoma and Texas just for fun. At the age of eighteen, he was asked to join the five-piece self-contained band, Hearttalk, as their lead vocalist and so began his music career. He spent nearly 10 years as the lead vocalists with Hearttalk and had the privilege of sharing the stage with artists: Rhett Akins, Junior Brown, Gary Stuart, Doug Supernaw, Little Texas and various others.
In 2004, Kyle had the pleasure of recording his first album in Nashville with Harrison House Studios and pursuing his goal of being on stage every night and hearing his songs on the radio. Everybody can relate to Kyle when he sings; he creates the emotion of every ballad that he sings and puts an energetic vibrancy in his up-tempo songs. When Kyle takes charge on stage and with an emotional conviction of the song he is singing, you are witnessing something special; something that’s difficult to find in today’s country music. Kyle can connect with his audience and get them to be a part of the song – that’s being in charge of your music with believability. When you are believable with great vocal talent, you are a singer of songs and an entertainer and that is exactly what Kyle is.
Since his trip to Nashville, Kyle has been lead vocalist for a couple of band and 2019 decided to branch off as a solo artist. He has quickly made a name for himself in Oklahoma and in Texas as well. His debut single, "Barstools and Neon Lights" is set to release to Texas radio in January 2022 with several other singles to follow later this year.
