Kurraguz Rayne

Keith Gibson better known by his stage name Kurraguz Rayne, was born on December 30, 1982 in Fayetteville, NC. He is a lyrical fresh breath of air exploding on the hip hop scene. Kurraguz Rayne started his music carrier in 2004 when he released his first album Project Can’t Stop Me. Over the past 11 years he has scripted over 1500 songs and has recorded a plethora of records: Salt and Brimmstone - 2009, The Kurraguz EP – 2011, The Great Recession – 2012, and I will not Fail – 2012, JusRayne – 2013, Warning Shots – 2013 and Renegade Wayz - 2014. His latest album The Ending of the Beginning (2015) includes such songs as; Straight to the top, Letter to was cultivated with his mother Pastor Audrey Joyner-Grey. Such works from Edgar Allen Poe, Mya Angelo, Martin Luther King Jr., Jesus and Gandhi inspired his philosophy “Sacrificial Passion”. This philosophy encompasses such thoughts as The Golden Rule, selfless acts, humility, and a true passion for greatness. In short, Total Congruency with Ones’ Self. God and I Got You. Keith Gibson’s passion for poetry, progressive literary work and philosophy His musical influences stems from some of the greatest iconic artist of the modern era; Elvis Presley, Bob Marley, Smoky Robinson, Stevie Wonder, Prince, Garth Brooks, Tupac Shakur, and Shirley Cesar just to name a few. Consequently the passion for musical instruments was spurred; Piano, Violin, Recorder, African Jim bay, Congo’s and Drums all helped perpetuate his musical understanding. This understanding gave rise to the name Kurraguz Rayne.

Kurraguz Rayne’s Journey has led to national television appearances; America’s Got Talent and The Larry Picket Show. These platforms opened the door for great venues such as; The Underground (ATL), Dynacon Event Center, Georgia World Congress Center and the Historic Berkley Café.
