Bio
Since four years old, Kira Hooks lived around the world in Texas, Holland, Nigeria, Scotland, and China. The world of music became her true home. Growing up, she was always singing along with records by artists such as Cole Porter, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, Des'ree, Billie Holiday, Kool & The Gang, Nat King Cole, Ella Fitzgerald, and many more. She recently graduated from Los Angeles Music Academy College for Music Professionals in Pasadena and is always getting ready for the next opportunity. In February 2013, she released her EP, 'Underground Sky', and is now working on a full-length album. Kira offers a nostalgic experience with her music and gives it a little contemporary magic. She hopes to create a feeling of oneness with her audience.
