Singing from a young age, King Kese found himself harmonizing to all things poetic, soulful, and prophetic. Emerging from his church choir, through endless talent shows, King Kese continued to elevate and by the age of 18yrs old showcased his talent on Season 8 of American Idol.
Growing up in the 90's, R&B was his most influential genre. Inspired by the legendary Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, and Chris Brown is what empowered King Kese to sustain his journey.
Male groups such as Jagged Edge, Boyz II Men, and Jodeci inspired his former group "JDM". His love for music or his "craft", propelled King Kese to pursue his passion. Currently, King Kese has had endless nights and innumerable performances to advocate his purpose on this earth. Music is therapy, Music is mood changing, Music is self-expression. His desire to be an inspiration to all those who experience his talents, is all the determination King Kese needs to triumph at this quest!
