Bio
Jonathan Jones (born April 30, 1990), aka "Johnny Butane", is an American artist, producer and songwriter based out of Staten Island, New York. He's known for his electric hair, his equally electric personality and his dissimilar music style.
Johnny started doing music seriously about 4 years ago, when he enrolled in Queensborough Colleges Audio Engineering program, but has been songwriting and playing instruments since he was 12. When it comes to his style, he is often compared to Kid Cudi and Kendrick Llamar, a comparison he welcomes as both artist have continued to inspire Johnny throughout his career. Musically he is also inspired and influenced by a myraid of other multi-genre aretist such as Eminem, Lady Gaga, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Prince and Chuck Berry. Johnny's Goal is to use music to explain his journey and views so others will be able to relate and learn from his stories.
