Kimmi Chandon

Kimmi Chandon has a brand of her own and is making her way to the world's stage.
Her huge range and varied sense of musical style has branded her an urban
ecletic. 

"I feel like an old soul because I love listening to Oldies,
Funk, Jazz, Disco, Old School R&B, and Hip-Hop.  I grew up with a family
that has a love for music too, so it naturally flows through my veins," she
states.

Although raised in Compton, California,  most of her time as a teen was spent
in recording studios, group rehearsals, and dance practices.  "That kept me
out of a lot of trouble," she adds chuckling.

Along with her innate singing ability came her gift of creative
writing. 

"I've dealt with a lot of grief as a child so I would channel
that into poetry, and when my sister bought me my first keyboard, I started
turning my poems into songs."
