Bio

Jason “The Dew” Daw and Daniel “Kilo” Rivera first began collaborating in February of 2013. The clash between Jason Daw and Daniel “Kilo” Rivera began in the living rooms of college houses with experiments consisting of Rivera’s furious drums and Daw’s playful electronic melodies. After the completion of their first song, “Lose Yourself” the duo found their place among the rising hunger for indie pop and alternative techno bands like Twenty One Pilots and Passion Pit.  With Rivera’s band-geek-cut-loose drums driving behind Daw’s waves of synths, guitar, and keyboards, the Kilo and the Dew experience is nothing short of new players breaking the old rules.

Kilo and the Dew in their short history have headlined shows across El Paso and have opened for acts like Young Rising Sons, Night Riot,The Chain Gang of 1974, Blackbird! Blackbird!, Hudson, Strange Talk, and Skylar Spence. In addition, they performed at a Unofficial 2014 South by Southwest party in Austin and were a featured local performer at the 2014 and 2015 Neon Desert Music Festival, who’s lineup included Passion Pit, Kaskade, Wiz Khalifa, and Zedd. Off of the local success of their first Full Length Album, mixed and mastered by producer and engineer Gabriel Gonzalez (Sparta, Sleepercar) and Sound+Vision Studios, Kilo and the Dew have shown time and time again that their city wants more. Being welcomed at multiple shows by sold out crowds of 350+, Kilo and the Dew have shown that they are out to make a name for themselves.
