Keren Botaro
With an eclectic and powerful voice, Keren's unique talent easily matches up with some of the best vocalists of our time. Her original compositions are perfectly paired with her soulful, stirring and oftentimes ground-shaking vocal abilities, which have already garnered her a loyal fan-base.
Born and raised in Tel Aviv, Keren Botaro's voice has been heard on every
continent. After leaving the IDF, Keren joined as the lead singer of a well known
16 piece band based out of Israel, taking her on a 2 year long European tour and
performing alongside Elton John and George Michael.
Since moving to the US, Keren has opened for Alicia Keys in 2 cities on her
“Songs in A Minor” tour.
After a chance encounter with the drummer of the acclaimed “New York Big Band,” Keren discovered a passion for Jazz and ever since has been the Lead Singer of this 17 piece orchestra, formally the house band of the “Rainbow Room” before its closing in 2009. Currently, they are the house band of the Edison Ballroom in Times Square.
In addition to an already packed performance schedule, Keren gigs all over NYC with her own band: “Keren & The Sugar Daddys,” as well as her own project and is in the process of recording her first solo album.
