Kelly Simmons, professionally known by his production name Kaseal, is an American record producer and DJ From Chicago IL.

Enter Kaseal, Chicago’s latest export to the EDM/Trap and Progressive house circuit. Citing a range of influences spanning the contemporary EDM legends Aviicii, Zed’s Dead and Martin Garrix, Kaseal is intent on making his mark in the industry.

His sound is righteous, influential and moving, and he’s made it his mission to harness the power of music to carve out timeless stories that actually contain meaning. Like a vessel, these stories carry his message of positivity which allows him to further express an almost cerebral sense of spirituality buried deep within his music. There is little doubt that the talent buried within Kaseal allows him to achieve just that, if not more.

It all began at the age of 16 for Kaseal, where he would not only gain his first pair of decks, but also begin to foster an insatiable thirst for collecting and mixing beats. It was only natural that he picked up the art of production quite soon after. Armed with a modest setup of just an Akai MAX49 Keyboard and a pair of trusty KRK Rokit 8’s, Kaseal keeps it real and focuses his energy on carving out timeless beats and viciously infectious hooks.

Currently, Kaseal has 2 singles under his belt – one entitled ‘Summer Wind’, which was released in the summer of 2016. This was followed up with his second single ‘Timeless’, which dropped late 2016. These 2 tracks make up half of his debut, forthcoming EP ‘Righteous’, which is set to hit the stores late March 2017.
