After touring extensively with an acoustic record, which she lovingly calls her "training wheels," Katianne Timko was ready to make her grand leap into pop music - an inevitable next step for the girl who dressed up like Baby Spice for career day in third grade. “I feel like it’s always been in the cards for me to make pop music,” she said. “I always knew. Always. I’ve been creating this path for myself since I was really little, taking smaller steps to prepare so I would have some solid footing when I was ready to go.” Strapped for cash but knowing what she wanted it to sound like, she built a small studio at home and began teaching herself how to use the different types of music production software. "I never thought about producing for myself, but out of necessity I found one of the newest, greatest passions of my life," she said. "It's so rewarding to be completely invested in a song from start to finish."
