provides the love and guidance of music to his nephew one could only expect that young impressionable
MC to take the craft to the next level. 

JReadi the Young Microphone Fiend defines  next level. This young talented rapper from Wyandanch Long Island NY is the nephew of Hip Hop icon Rakim. If you ask Rakim what he sees in his nephew he'll respond to you the passion to be the best with the humility in him to put Allah first. At the age of five Jreadi started free styling as well as playing the keyboard and drums which made him  quickly figured out that music was his passion . In 2004 he felt it was time to start his journey in Hip Hop with the guidance of a close circle of friends and family he began to craft his lyrical prowess with several early mix tape releases. Having the ability to gain the respect of his peers in the streets of Long Island while building with a crew of lyrical artist aptly named the Fly Guys has thrown JReadi into the limelight. The coming of age occurred with his feature appearances on the 2008 Fly Guy project Rise of the Empire hosted by his friend and early mentor
Spiv Dolla.

His name quickly earned him a reputation as one to watch for which is evident with collaborations by
lyrical New York’s own Skyzoo in 2009. Still independent and ambitious  JReadi stepped out with one of his best projects (The Welcome Mat) in 2010. With a mind blowing passion for the lyrics and wordplay it was only a matter of time for JReadi and Rakim to combine minds with the coming of age record entitled Talking to God from the project. This song and the entire project have earned him rave reviews from critics looking forward to his debut album. Readi's intellectual skills provide all who encounter his music with thought provoking gems outside of the normal ego driven non divine lyrical content the music industry has succumbed to. His punch lines and remarkable flow makes him a sure threat to most rappers in today's music industry. The potential for longevity comes from the ability to craft a mosaic, a verbal art form that is indicative of the great poets of the Harlem Renaissance. His creative thought process is the reason his existing catalog has earned so much attention from critics and fans.
