Bio
A native of Owensboro, KY, Merritt has been making music since the early age of 9 years old after his father brought him home his first guitar. As a child he quickly picked up a love for writing songs and even more so for performing them. His warm heart and eagerness to entertain made him a natural on stage in no time at all.
Now having traveled across the country sharing his music Merritt has played venues of every size, traveling to places like Key West, Fl; Little Rock, AR; Nashville, TN; Louisville, KY; Des Moines, IO; and Chicago, IL. With a hefty tour schedule and the release of a new live album scheduled for spring, 2016 is already becoming a busy year.
