Jon Darren is a singer/songwriter in the style of folk/country/blues/rock n roll/ Swedish sewing music. Hey you're paying attention! Okay then I'll tell you the truth.
I'm just a lifelong musician who's wife left him last year. During one of the most painful and trying periods of my life, I started singing and writing songs, mostly on acoustic guitar. User a lower "grown-man" voice some describe as Johnny Cash ( I would never) and some guitar practice, I actually didn't suck! Decided to start recording and performing with only one mandate: I just wanted to feel better.
So far that's worked out, a lot of people seem to like my music, and I feel a lot better now :) my influences are of course Cash, also Dylan, Kristofferson, Marvin Gaye, Billy Joel, Simon and Garfunkel, Beatles n Stones, and about 5 million others.
