When Jonathan AKA J Dub debuted his Swagga Lynda Barry video on WorldstarHipHop.com it stuck out like a sore thumb. The industrial-laced banger took modern trap music down the rabbit hole racking up 1.3 million unique views along with a batch of new fans and an avalanche of haters.
But with that video doors began to open for Jonathan including a project with the art director of Die Antwoord, Ben Crossman, a set at the 17th Annual Gathering of the Juggalos, and a historic feature alongside west coast legends Snoop Dogg and Ice Cube on ‘The Position (Remix)’
