Bio
Joel Shimer is a 16 year old guitarist/vocalist from the small town of Emmaus PA. From a very young age, Joel demonstrated a strong love for music and performing. He played his first public performance as a part of the Emmaus Snowblast Festival in 2010. Ever since then, he has been performing at both public and private events. Highlights include an appearance at Coca-Cola Park for an Iron Pigs postgame concert and The Morning Call staff picnic, both in the summer of 2014. As a member of the Emmaus High School Chorale, Joel has sung at the prestigious Carnegie Hall twice, and he will also be singing at the Vatican in Rome this Easter, 2015. He resides in Emmaus with his parents, Charles and Melanie Shimer.
